A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH OF INTENTION TO VACATE A
PORTION OF WARNER AVENUE IN SAID CITY
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby
resolve as follows :
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Division 9 , Part 3 , Chapter 2 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, (Sec-
tion 8320 et seq. ) , the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach hereby declares its intention to vacate a portion of
Warner Avenue in the City of Huntington Beach, described as fol-
lows :
Those portions of the northeast quarter of the
northwest quarter of fractional Section 29 ,
Township 5 South, Range 11 West, San Bernar-
dino Base and Meridian, as shown on a map re-
corded in Book 51, page 13 of Miscelleanous
Maps , Records of Orange County, California
described as follows :
Parcel A: Beginning at the southeast corner
of the northeast one quarter of the northwest
one quarter of said fractional Section 29;
thence north 0°32122" west 304 . 31 feet along
the east line of said northeast one quarter
to a point; thence south 89016 '38" west
30 . 00 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence north 62049102" west 90 .00 feet to a
point on a curve concave to the northwest
having a radius of 555. 00 feet, a radial line
through said point bears south 62049102" east
thence northeasterly along said curve 104 . 94
feet through a central angle of 10048 ' 50" to a
point on a curve concave to the northwest having
a radius of 860 . 00 feet , a radial line through
said point bears south 65033 ' 38" east; thence
northeasterly along said curve 65. 34 feet
through a central angle of 4021112" to a point
on a tangent line; thence north 20005110" east
39 . 41 feet to a point on a line parallel with

point lies on a line parallel with and 30 . 00
feet northerly, measured at right angles to

cave easterly, having a radius of 30 . 00 feet ;

point on a tangent curve of reverse curvature
concave to the northwest having a radius of

bears south 33°53 ' 10" east ; thence north-
easterly along said curve 52 . 53 feet through
a central angle of 3129 , 44" to a point on a
nontangent curve concave to the northwest
having a radius of 555 . 00 feet , a radial line
through said point bears south 29018 , 40"
east; thence northeasterly along said curve

to a point; a radial line through said point
bears south 37053106" east; thence south
37053106" east 90 . 00 feet along said radial
line to a point on a curve concave to the
northwest having a radius of 654 . 00 feet , a
radial line through said point bears south
37053 ' 06" east ; thence southwesterly along
said curve 110 . 82 feet through a central angle
at 9050 ' 39" to the true point of beginning.
SECTION 2 . The City Clerk is directed to maintain on . file in
the office of the City Clerk maps or plans showing the particulars
of the proposed vacation of a portion of Warner Avenue, as herein
above set forth and reference is hereby made to said maps or plans
for said particulars as to said proposed vacation.
SECTION 3 . The City Council does hereby fix August 17, 1970
at the hour of 7: 30 p.m. , or as soon thereafter as the matter may

be heard, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington
Beach, California as the time and place for hearing all persons
interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation, which time
is not less than fifteen (15) days from the date of passage of
this resolution.
SECTION 4 . The City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of
this resolution to be published in the Huntington Beach News, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the
City of Huntington Beach within fifteen (15) days of the passage
of this resolution.
SECTION 5. The Street Superintendent is directed to post,
or cause to be posted, notices of street vacation conspicuously
along the portion of Warner Avenue proposed to be vacated at
least ten (10 ) days before the date of the hearing. Such notices
shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, but
at least three (3) shall be posted. Such notices shall state the
passage of this resolution of intention and the time and place of
the hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th
day of July, 1970 .

I , PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th
day of July 19 70 , by the following vote :
