A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH OPPOSING
THE PASSAGE OF AB 2294
WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach has determined
that the location of mobilehomes and mobilehome parks and
adoption by ordinance of land use standards for mobilehome
parks , travel trailer parks , recreational trailer parks ,
temporary trailer parks and tent camps including minimum
land parcel area, perimeter land parcel setbacks , perimeter
landscaping, walls , signs , and access are criteria that
should be established by either a city or county ,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach as follows :
1. That it does hereby oppose passage of Assembly
Bill 2294 .
2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to forward
copies of this resolution to Assemblymen Robert H. Burke and
Kenneth Cory .
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, this 6th day of July, 1971.

of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th
day of July 1971 by the following vote :
