HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 3363 RESOLUTION NO. 3363 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH REQUESTING APPROVAL BY THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF THE CROSSING OF THE ADOPTED ROUTE 39 FREEWAY BY A PORTION OF NEWLAND STREET BETWEEN ELLIS AVENUE AND TALBERT AVENUE WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach intends to com- plete construction of Newland Street between Ellis Avenue and Talbert Avenue; and Such street will encroach on the proposed Route 39 Freeway and it is desirable that a crossing be provided across such proposed freeway, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach requests the California Highway Commission to consider the crossing of the adopted Route 39 Freeway by a portion of Newland Street in the City of Huntington Beach between Ellis Avenue and Talbert Avenue .
