HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 3380 RESOLUTION NO. 3380 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH OF INTENTION TO CLOSE A PORTION OF HOLLAND DRIVE. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, (Section 8320 et seq.), the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach hereby declares its intention to close a portion of Holland Drive in the city of Huntington Beach, at a line described as follows: The Southerly prolongation of the Westerly line of Lot 49 as shown on map of Tract 4009, recorded in Book 161 Pages 38 through 40 inclusive of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to maintain on file in the office of the City Clerk maps or plans showing the particulars of the proposed vacation of a portion of Holland Drive, as hereinabove set forth and reference is hereby made to said maps or plans for said particulars as to said propsed vacation. SECTION 3. The City Council does hereby fix November 15, 1971, Monday, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. , or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, California as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation, which time is not less than fifteen (15) days from the date of passage of this resolution. SECTION 4. The City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the city of Huntington Beach within fifteen (15) days of the passage of this resolution, and is directed to mail a copy of this resolution of intent to all property owners within 300 feet :of the subject property. SECTION 5. The Street Superintendent is directed to post, or cause to be posted, notices of street vacation conspicuously along the portion of Holland Drive proposed to be vacated at least ten (10) days before the date of hearing. Such notices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, but at least three (3) shall be posted. Such notices shall state the passage of this resolution of intention and the time and place of the hearing.
