HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 3395 RESOLUTION NO. 3395 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH INDICATING INTENT TO REZONE PROPERTY IN THE VICINITY OF SEVENTEENTH STREET BETWEEN PALM AVENUE AND OCEAN AVENUE TO COMMERCIAL DENSITY WHEREAS , the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach has determined that the area in the vicinity of Seventeenth Street between Palm Avenue and Ocean Avenue will be developed to a density requiring additional commercial zoning at least one-half block in size, and by Resolution No. 1078, adopted on November 2 , 1971 , expressed its intention to have a comprehensive development plan for commercial development prior to such rezoning, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach approves Planning Commission Resolution No . 1078 and will give favorable consideration to a request for commercial zoning along Seventeenth Street when a comprehensive development plan for commercial development has been submitted.
