A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH SUPPORTING THE YOUTH EMPLOYMENT
SERVICE AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
THEREFOR
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does
hereby resolve as follows :
That the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
supports the Youth Employment Service for the fiscal year
1972-73 and authorizes the expenditure of the City 's prorata
share of the total amount as per the Agreement among the
Cities of Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley , Westminster
and Garden Grove, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof.
That said Agreement is approved and the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute such
Agreement on behalf of the City of Huntington Beach.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
5th day of March, 1973 .

AGREEMENT
The Cities of Fountain Valley, Westminster, Huntington Beach
and Garden Grove hereby agree to support the Youth Employment
Service for the fiscal year of 1972-73 in the amount of $20 ,926 .00
as set forth in the annexed budget . Each city agrees to pay a
prorates share of this amount on a per capita basis as follows :
Huntington Beach $7 ,761.45
Fountain Valley 2 ,645 .05
Westminster 3 ,540 .68
Garden Grove 6,978.82
The Youth Employment Service will be physically located at the
Huntington Center Mall. The City of Huntington Beach will be
the fiscal agent for the service .
The Youth Employment Service Coordinator will prepare a bi-
monthly report showing the number of job applicants from each
of the four cities and the number of applicants placed for each
of the four cities Each city agrees to pay one--half of the
above annual share of costs not later than October 1, 1972 .
The balance is due and payable on March 1, 1973 .

This agreement will be re-evaluated during the month of December
1972 and if, for any reason, any city is dissatisfied, it may
withdraw from the program.

ADDENDA CITY OF GARDEN GROVE
It is understood that of the $6,978. 82 payable by the City of
Garden Grove , $4,160 .00 of this will be used to compensate an
employee to handle applicants in the Garden Grove area at a
location to be designated by the City of Garden Grove . The
remaining portion, $2,818.82, is due and payable to the City
of Huntington Beach not later than October 1, 1972.
