A RESOLUTION OF THE "CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING ITS MASTER PLAN
OF LAND USE TO INCLUDE MASTER PLAN AMENDMENT
NO. 73-6
WHEREAS, city desires to adopt Master Plan Amendment
No. 73-6, amending its Master Plan of Land Use to change
approximately one third acre of land, located on the north
side of Alhambra Street approximately 100 feet west of Beach
Boulevard, from medium density residential to commercial
district; and
Public hearing on adoption of said amendment was held
by the Planning Commission on June 19, 1973; and
By Resolution No. 1122, adopted August 7, 1973, said
Planning Commission approved Master Plan Amendment No . 73-6;
and
The City Council, after giving notice as prescribed by
Government Code Section 65355, held at least one public hear-
ing on said amendment, and said amendment was duly considered,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach, pursuant to provisions of Govern-
ment Code Section 65000 et seq. , the Master Plan of Land Use is
hereby amended by incorporating therein Master Plan Amendment
No. 73-6, as set out in Resolution No. 1122 of the Huntington
Beach Planning Commission, a copy of which is attached hereto
and by reference made a part of this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th
day of September, 1973.

RESOLUTION NO. 1122
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON SEACH, CALIFORNIA RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
MASTER PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 73-6
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington
Beach desires to adopt Master Plan Amendment No. 73-6 amending
the Master Plan of Land Use to redesignate approximately 1/3
acre of land, located on the north side of Alhambra Street,
approximately 100 ft. west of Beach Blvd. , from Medium Density
Residential to Commercial.
WHEREAS, a public hearing on adoption of said amendment was
had by the Planning Commission on June 19, 1973 in accordance F
with provisions of the State Government Code ; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington
Beach is adopting said plan in order to.
1. Promote the health, safety, welfare and convenience of
the general public ; <,
2 . Serve as a general guide for the development of public
and private lands ;
3. Provide an authentic source of information for residents
and investors of the city;
4 . To obviate the menace to public safety and property
values resulting from inadequate coordination and
planning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission
of the City of Huntington Beach hereby adopts said amendment to
the Master Plan of Land Use of the City of Huntington Beach ;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the amendment of the Master Plan
of Land Use is recommended for adoption by the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach as the official Master Plan of said
city.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of
Huntington Beach, California on the 7th day of Augustl973 by the
following roll call vote:
AYES : Geiger, Bazil , Kerins , Wallin, Porter

ABSTAIN: None

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day
of September , 1973 by the following vote:
