A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND
CLERK TO EXECUTE SUPPLEMENT NO. 2 TO LOCAL
AGENCY - STATE AGREEMENT NO. 2, FAU PROJECT
M-6024 (004 )
WHEREAS, on November 19, 1973, the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach adopted Resolution No. 3783, whereby
the city entered into a master agreement with the State of
California to widen Beach Boulevard between Pacific Coast
Highway and Adams Avenue; and
Many projects are incorporated within such master agree-
ment, and Supplement No. 2 to Local Agency - State Agreement
No. 2, FAU Project M-6024 (004) is one such project, cover-
ing landscaping for Beach Boulevard,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach that it does authorize the Mayor and
Clerk to execute that certain project agreement, designated
"Supplement No. 2 to Local Agency - State Agreement No. 2,
FAU Project M-6024 (004 ) , " a copy of which is attached hereto
and by reference made a part hereof, for the performance of
landscaping in connection with city ' s Federal Aid Urban Proj-
ect to widen Beach Boulevard to six traffic lanes from Pacific
Coast Highway to Adams Avenue.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
17th day of December, 1973 •

Pursuant to the Federal Aid for Urban Systems Act(commencing with Section 2350 of the Streets ,
and Highways Code) and Section 106 of the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 19T0, the attached
4'Ptogram" of Federal Aid Urban Svstem Projects marked "Exhibit B" is hereby incorporated in
that buster Agreement for the Federal-Aid Urban System Program which W-4 entered into between
the above named LOCAL AGENCY and the STATE on AAx'il 4, 1975
and is subject to all of the terms and conditions thereof.
The subjectprogram is adopted in accordance with Paragraph 4 of Article iI of the aforementioned'

Speciat Covenenta or Remarks: t; All maintenance, involving the physical condition and the operation of the improvements, referred to
in Article-Vt MAINTENANCE of the afotementioned Master Agreement will be performed by
the City of Huntington Beach at regular intervals or as required for efficient
operation of the completed improvements.
The City of Huntington Beach will advertise, award and administer this project with the
approval of.the FHWA.
Providing: adequate Federal funds are available to the City, the actual funds for the
roject will be set up on the basis. of contract prices after the bids for the work have

en oened. Zn awarding, or agreeing to award the contract, the City agrees to use um
participation and accepts any increase in Local Agency funds.
Special Covenants for Suppl. LA--SA
The City share of matching funds for Construction Engineering, and
Construction will be 100 percent of the amount remaining after
Federal participation.
The availability of Federal Funds will be subject to meeting dead-
lines and/or rather conditions as may be imposed by the Director
upon the recommendation of the TOPICS Advisory Committee (Urban
system).
