A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH OF INTENTION TO VACATE AN
ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does
hereby resolve as follows :
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Division 9 , Part 3, Chapter 2
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California
(Sections 8320 et seq. ) , the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach hereby declares its intention to vacate an
alley right-of-way bounded on the north by Warner Avenue ,
the south by Sycamore Street , the east by Ash Street and the
west by Oak Lane , described as follows :
The south 20 . 00 feet of the north 183. 71 feet
of Block B of Tract 368, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 15 , Page 31, Miscellaneous
Maps , Records of Orange County.
Excepting therefrom that portion previously
dedicated for highway purposes on Ash Street.
SECTION 2 . The City Clerk is directed to maintain on
file in the office of the City Clerk maps or plans showing
the particulars of the proposed vacation of an alley right-
of-way as hereinabove set forth , and reference is hereby made to
said maps or plans for said particulars as to said proposed
vacation.
SECTION 3. The City Council does hereby fix August 5,
1974 at the hour of 7 p .m. , or as soon thereafter as the matter
may be heard in Council Chambers in the City Hall, Huntington
Beach, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation, which time is not less
than fifteen (15 ) days from the passage of this resolution.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of
this resolution to be published in the Huntington Beach News , a

newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the
City of Huntington Beach within fifteen (15 ) days of the passage
of this resolution.
SECTION 5. The Street Superintendent is directed to post ,
or cause to be posted, notices of the alley right-of-way vacation
conspicuously along the boundary of said alley right-of-way pro-
posed to be vacated at least ten (10 ) days before the date of
the hearing. Such notices shall be posted not more than three
hundred (300 ) feet apart, but at least three (3) shall be posted.
Such notices shall state the passage of this resolution of
intention and the time and place of hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st
day of July, 1974.

I, ALICIA M. WENTWORTH, the duly elected, qualified City

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the lst day
