HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 3926 RESOLUTION NO. 3926 RESOLUTION AMENDING DESCRIPTION OF WORK AS SET FORTH IN RESOLUTION NO. 3903 AND RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 3905 SUNSET HEIGHTS ASSESSMENT DISTRICT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 7201 HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA T has occurred in the preparation WHERE-AS , a clerical error s o p p of Resolution No. 3903 and Resolution of Intention No. 3905 of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, adopted July 1 , 1974 in that the description of the work and improvements to be performed in this assessment district as set forth in said Resolution No. 3903 and Resolution of Intention No. 3905 did not contain any reference to the following street in said City of Huntington Beach: Hoskins Street between its intersection with Pearce Street and its intersection with Warner Avenue; and WHEREAS , the work and improvements to be performed in Hoskins Street as aforesaid are described and set forth in the plans and specifications of said work and improvements and in the Investigation Report of the Engineer of Work, all of which documents I are on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City of Huntington Beach and to which reference was made in said Resolution No. 3903 and Resolution of Intention No. 3905; and WHEREAS , the real property to be assessed for said work and improvements in Hoskins Street and the amount of the assessment proposed to be assessed against each of said parcels of real property are set forth and contained in said Investigation Report and. all of the owners have been given notice in the manner required by law of said proposed work and improvements and of the amount to be assessed against each of said parcels of real property therefor, -1- except for the failure to expressly include the description of said work in said Resolution No. 3903 and Resolution of Intention No. 3905; and G?HEPrAS , amendment of said Resolution No. 3903 and Resolu- tion of Intention No. 3905 by adding thereto the aforesaid work and improvements in Hoskins Street between Pearce Street and Warner Avenue during the hearing upon said Investigation Report and Resolution of Intention No. 3905 , duly called and held on August 5, 1974 , may be accomplished without adding any additional territory to said I assessment district and said City Council is given the authority to make said change in said proposed work and improvement pursuant to the provisions of Section 5231.1 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, that the following change in the work and improvements proposed in this assessment district as set forth in Resolution No. 3903 and Resolution of Intention No. 3905 , adopted July 1 , 1974 , is hereby ordered: Add to subparagraph 9 of Section 1 of said Resolution No. 3903 and to subparagraph 10 of Section 1 of said Resolution of Intention No. 3905 the following location of work and improvements: Hoskins Street between Pearce Street and Warner Avenue.
