HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 3927 RESOLUTION NO. 3927 RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK SUNSET HEIGHTS ASSESSMENT DISTRICT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 7201 HUNTINGTON BEACH , CALIFORNIA WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, State of California, did, on July ], 1974 pass and adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 3905 that the streets and rights of way named in said Resolution of Intention be improved in the manner therein described; and WHEREAS , said Resolution of Intention was duly and legally mailed, posted and published in the time, form and manner required by law, as shown by the affidavits of mailing, posting and publication of said Resolution of Intention on file in the office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS , said Resolution of Intention was amended by Resolution No. 3926 of said Citv Council adopted August 5, 1974 , adding to said work and improvements the work and improvements to be performed in Hoskins Street between Pearce Street and Warner Avenue as set forth in the plans and specifications of said work and improvement and in the Investigation Report of the Engineer of Work! and WHEREAS , protests or objections in writing or otherwise against the proposed work and improvement, the extent of the district to be assessed, or the grades to which said work is proposed to be done have not been made or presented by the owners of more than half of the area of the property to be assessed for said improvements up to the hour set for hearing in and by said Resolution of Intention, and said City Council having acquired jurisdiction to order said work and improvements. -1- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, in regular session assembled, that the public interest and convenience require the improvements herein referred to, and said City Council hereby orders that the work and improvements , as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No. 3905 , and in the plans and specifications therein referred to and adopted, be done and made in the manner described in and provided by said Resolution of Intention and said plans and specifications, and said Resolution No . 3884 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all objections , whether in writong or oral , to the proposed work and improvements , the grade to which said work is to be done or the boundaries of the district proposed to be assessed to pay the cost and expenses of said work be and the same hereby are overruled and denied. BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that the boundaries of the assess- ment district and the grades to which said work and improvements are to be constructed shall be those set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No. 3905, in the plans and specifica- tions therein referred to, and in the plat or map of said assessment district therein referred to, reference to all of which is hereby made for all further particulars.
