HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4043 711 RESOLUTION NO. 4043 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH EXTENDING TIME OF COMPLETION FOR UNDERGROUNDING IN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 74-1 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3953, adopted by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach on September 16, 1974, Underground Utility District No . 74-1 was established for the purpose of removing overhead wires and associated structures and installing underground facilities to supply electric, communication and similar services in an area described as: Within the right-of-way of Goldenwest Street from the south side of Slater Avenue to the north side of Norma Drive and within the right- of-way of Warner Avenue from the east side of Goldenwest Street to the west side of Graham Street; and Resolution No. 3953 fixed the time of completion for such undergrounding of services as June 30, 1975; and Section 9757 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code Permits an extension of time in the event the act of under- grounding cannot be completed within the time provided by resolution, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that it does hereby extend the time for undergrounding electric, communication and similar services in Underground Utility District No. 74-1 from September 16, 1974 to June 30, 1976.
