HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4044 RESOLUTION NO. 4044 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH EXTENDING• TIME OF COMPLETION FOR UNDERGROUNDING IN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 73-4 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3819, adopted by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach on February 4, 1974 , Underground Utility District No. 73-4 was established for the purpose of removing overhead wires and associated structures and installing underground facilities to supply electric , communication and similar services in an area described as : One hundred (100) feet on each side of the center line of Mansion-Yorktown Avenue from 500 feet east of Main Street to the east side of Huntington Street; and Resolution No. 3819 fixed the time of completion for such undergrounding of services as December 31, 1974; and Section 9757 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code permits an extension of time in the event the act of under- grounding cannot be completed within the time provided by resolution, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that it does hereby extend the time for undergrounding electric, communication and similar services in Underground Utility District No. 73-4 from December 31, 1974 to June 30, 1976.
