HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4089 RESOLUTION NO. 4089 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH DETERMINING FEE SCHEDULE OF PERMITS REQUIRED BY HUNTINGTON BEACH OIL CODE AND SETTING CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT THEREOF WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, pursuant to Section 15. 12. 080 of the Huntington Beach Municipal Code, is required to set a fee schedule prior to July 1 of each year for the permits required by such code, said schedule to be based upon the projected administrative and legal costs of administering and enforcing the Huntington Beach Oil Code and all provisions relating to oil operators in the city of Huntington Beach, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve to and does set the following fees and conditions for permits effective July 1, 1975 and continu- ing to and including June 30, 1976: (a) FEES 1. Drilling or redrilling permit $100 per well - must be paid upon application. 2. Annual inspection permit $50 per well 3. Waste water permit $30 per well Term: January 1, 1975 through December 31, 1975 4. Oil field recovery heater permit $100 per well - must be paid upon application. (b ) CONDITIONS 1. Payment of the above fees is a condition to the 1. 7F/ahb issuance of each permit . 2. The aforementioned fees shall be paid to the De- partment of Finance for allocation to the city' s general fund. 3 . The annual inspection permit shall be considered a permit to operate for one year, and the fee for such permit shall be due and payable on the first day of July of each year and shall be delinquent on August 1 of each year. For any new wells drilled after the commencement of the fiscal year, the fee shall be prorated. 4. Waste water permit fee shall be due and payable an- nually on the first day of January of each year, and shall be delinquent on January 31 of each year. 5. When collected, the above fees shall be paid to the general fund of the City of Huntington Beach, and no fees shall be refundable. This resolution does not supersede Resolution No. 3679 which shall remain in full force and effect until June 30, 1975 inclusive.
