HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4100 RESOLUTION NO . 4100 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH INFORMING THE ADVISORY COMMIT- TEE CF CHANGES IN THE CITY ARTERIAL HIGHWAY MASTER PLAN WHEREAS, the Arterial Highway Financing Program has a requirement that all cities must requalify annually for such program by informing the Advisory Committee of any changes in the city Arterial Highway Master Plan; and The city has made those changes described in Resolution No . 4033 , attached hereto and by reference made apart hereof, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach hereby informs the Advisory Com- mittee that changes have been made to the city Arterial Highway Master Plan and hereby requests that such changes be adopted into the county Arterial Highway Master Plan, and be made eligible for inclusion in the Arterial Highway Financing Program. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of July, 1975 . Mayor ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: City Clerk City Attorne APPROVED AS TO CONTENT: City Administrator RESOLUTION NO. 4033 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE MASTER PLAN OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS TO INCLUDE AMENDMENT NO. 74-1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach on April 21, 1958 duly adopted an official Master Plan of Streets and Highways , pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law of the State of California; and Pursuant to said Planning and Zoning Law, the Planning Commission on November 19, 1974 , after notice duly given, held public hearing relative to Amendment No. 74-1 to the Master Plan of Streets and Highways to remove the classification of McFadden Avenue between Graham Street and Bolsa Chica Street as a secondary arterial highway, and to add a secondary arterial highway approx- imately 1400 feet north of McFadden Avenue between Graham Street and Bolsa Chica`Street; and After notice duly given pursuant to law, hearing was held before this Council on the proposed amendment to said Master Plan, and the matter having been considered, the Council finds that the removal of McFadden Avenue between Graham Street and Bolsa Chica Street as a secondary arterial highway, and the addition of a secondary arterial highway approximately 1400 feet north of McFadden Avenue between Graham Street and Bolsa Chica Street is reasonably necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic, for the preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the city, and for the orderly development of the community, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows : 1. That McFadden Avenue between Graham Street and Bolsa Chica Street is hereby deleted from the Master Plan of Streets and Highways as a secondary arterial highway. er 1 . 2. That a secondary arterial highway shall be located approximately 1400 feet north of McFadden Avenue between Graham Street and Bolsa Chica Street . That such proposed secondary arterial highway is more particularly described as : That portion of the North one half of Section 16 , Township 5 South, Range 11 West in the Rancho La Bolsa Chica, in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange , State of California, as shown on map recorded in Book 51 Page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County described as follows : Beginning at the intersection of the North line of said Section 16 with a line that is parallel with and 80 . 00 feet Easterly, measured at right angles from the West line of the Northwest quarter of said Section; thence Southerly, along said parallel line 1128.16 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence Southeasterly along a curve con- cave Northeasterly having a radius of 32. 00 feet through a central angle of 89040 ' 30'' an arc dis- tance of 50 .08 feet; thence North 89038' 55" East 2531. 60 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of 32.00 feet ; thence Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 90019125" an arc distance of 50 .45 feet to a line that is parallel with and distant 26. 00 feet Easterly measured at right angles from the West line of the East one half of said Section 16; thence Southerly along said last mentioned parallel line South 0040' 30" East 144 .00 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of 32 . 00 feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 89040 ' 35" an arc distance of 50 .08 feet; thence tangent to said last mentioned curve South 89°3855" West 2531. 60 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly having a radius of 32 . 00 feet ; thence Southwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 90019' 30" an arc distance of 50 . 45- feet to a line that is parallel with and distant 80 .00 feet. Easterly mea- sured at right angles from the West line of the Northwest quarter of said Section 16; thence along said last mentioned parallel line North 0140' 35" West 144 . 00 feet to the True Point of Beginning. $.
