HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4154 RESOLUTION NO. 4154 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF REDONDO CIRCLE, SOUTH OF TALBERT AVENUE The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows : SECTION 1. A public hearing was held before the Planning Commission on October 21, 1975, at which time it was determined pursuant to Government Code Section 65402, that the proposed vacation of Redondo Circle, South of Talbert Avenue conformed to the city' s General Plan. SECTION 2 . Pursuant to Division 9 , Part 3, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California (Sections 8320 et seq. ) , the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach hereby declares its intention to vacate a portion of Redondo Circle, south of Talbert Avenue, de- scribed as follows : That portion of Block E of Tract 570, as shown on a map recorded in Book 19, page 71, Miscella- neous Maps , Records of Orange County, being re- corded as follows : Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Block E; thence South 0°46 ' 05" West to a point on a curve , said curve being concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 50. 00 feet; thence Westerly and Northerly along said curve through a central angle of 91027' 33" an arc distance of 79 . 81 feet to a point on a line, said line being the North line of said Block E; thence North 89018' 32" East 50 . 00 feet along said line to the point of beginning. SECTION 3. The City Clerk is directed to maintain on file in the office of the City Clerk maps or plans showing the particulars of the proposed vacation of a portion of JOC:er 1. Redondo Circle, south of Talbert Avenue, and reference is hereby made to said maps or plans for said particulars as to said proposed vacation. SECTION 4. The City Council does hereby fix December 15, 1975 at the hour of 7: 00 p .m. , or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard in Council Chambers in the Civic Center, Huntington Beach, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation, which time is not less than fifteen (15) days afrom the passage of this resolution. SECTION 5 . The City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published in the Huntington Beach News , a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Huntington Beach within fifteen (15) days of the passage of this resolution. SECTION 6. The Street Superintendent is directed to post, or cause to be posted, notices of vacation conspicuously along that portion of Redondo Circle, south of Talbert Avenue proposed to be vacated at least ten (10) days before the date of the hearing. Such notices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300 ) feet apart , but at least three (3) shall be posted. Such notices shall state the passage of this resolution of intention and the time and place of hearing.
