JUN 23 1976 RESOLUTION NO. 4248 J.WYLIE CARLYLE,Cavay i xrder A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH Q TNG THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF WICHITA ARV BETWEEN THE RAILROAD TRA -UM- �STREET' WHEREAS, on May 17, 1976;, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach duly adapted Resolution No. 4241 declaring its intention to vacate a portion of Wichita Avenue between the railroad tracks and Alabama Street, ; and referring to maps or plans on file in the office of the City Clerk for particulars as to the proposed vacation; and Said resolution fixed the time and place of June 7. 1976 at the hour of 7: 00 p.m. , or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, Huntington Beach, California, for hearing all persons interested In or objecting to the proposed vacation, which time was not f less than fifteen (15) days from the passage of said resolution. Avenue proposed to be vacated is not necessary for present and prospective public purposes or is not suitable for use or development as bicycle paths or routes. /Cs 1. 8!( i 1784P6 8M NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, pursuant to Division 9, Page 3s Chaptdr 2 of the State of California Streets and Highways Code (Sections 8320 et seq. ), does resolve that that portion of Wichita Avenue between the railroad tracks and Alabama Street, hereinafter set forth, is not necessary for present or prospective public purposes, and is not suitable for use or development as bicycle paths or routes, and it is hereby ORDERED that the following—described portion of Wichita Avenue between the railroad tracks and Alabama Street be and the same is hereby vacated; and said portion of Wichita Avenue so vacated is described as follows: Parcel 1 Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 12 of Block 2201 of 'Vista Del Mar tract as shown on `a map recorded in Book 4, page 15, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County; thence northerly along the northerly prolongation cf the west line of said Lot 12, 60. 00 feet to a point, said point being the southwest corner of Block 2301 of East Side Villa tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book fit, page 65, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County; thence easterly along the south line of said Block 2301, 125. 00 feet to a point; thence southerly 60. 00 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 12 thence westerly along the north line of said Lot 12, 125.00 feet to the point of beginning. Parcel 2 That portion lying northwesterly of a curve Concave southeasterly and having a radius of 80,00 feet, said curve being tangent on the north to the south line of Black 2302 of said East Side Villa tract and tangent on the west to the east line of said Lot 12 in the city of Huntington Beach, county of Oranges state of California.
