RESOLUTION NO. 4255
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE PLANNING DIRECTOR
TO FILE CLAIM FOR SB 821 FUNDS FOR BIKEWAYS AND
PEDESTRIAN FACILITIES
WHEREAS , the Transporation Development Act of 1971 (SB 325)
was amended to permit the use of the local transporation funds
for the development of pedestrian and bicycle facilities within
cities and counties ; and
The Southern California Association of Governments is
administering funds for said purpose and has determined that the
City of Huntington Beach is eligible to receive a portion of the
fiscal year 1976-77 allocation of SB 821 funds amounting to
approximately Thirty-Four Thousand Three Hundred Fifteen Dollars
($34 ,315) ; and
The Southern California Association of Governments has estab-
lished procedures in accordance with SB 821 for cities and counties
to file claims for allocated funds ; and
The City of Huntington Beach is desirous of filing a claim
for said allocated funds ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach authorizes the Planning Director to file
said claim with the Southern California Association of Governments .
The City Clerk is hereby directed to send a certified copy of
this resolution to the Southern California Association of Govern-
ments for inclusion with the application for SB 821 funds .
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day
of June , 1976.

Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-officio Clerk of the
City Council of said City, do hereby certify that the whole number of
members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is seven;
that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day
of June 19 76 by the following vote:
