A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH EXTENDING TIME OF COMPLETION
FOR UNDERGROUNDING IN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DIS=
TRICT NO . 74-1
WHEREAS, Resolution No . 3953, adopted by the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach on September 16, 1974, established
Underground Utility District No . 74-1 for the purpose of re-
moving overhead wires and associated structures and installing
underground facilities to supply electric, communication and
similar services in an area described as :
Within the right-of-way of Goldenwest Street
from the south side of Slater Avenue to the
north side of Norma Drive and within the
right-of-way of Warner Avenue from the east
side of Goldenwest Street to the west side
of Graham Street;
and
Pursuant to Section 9757 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance
Code, the original completion date for such undergrounding was
extended from September 16, 1974 to June 30, 1976 by Resolution
No. 4043; and
It is again necessary to extend such time of completion,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach that it does hereby extend the time of
completion for undergrounding electric, communication and similar
services in Underground District No . 74-1 from June 30, 1976 to
December 31, 1976 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 19th
day of July , 1976 .

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 19th day
