A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH INFORMING THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
OF CHANGES IN THE CITY ARTERIAL HIGHWAY MASTER
PLAN
WHEREAS, the Arterial Highway Financing Program has a
requirement that all cities must requalify annually for such pro-
gram by informing the Advisory Committee of any changes in the
city Arterial Highway Master Plan; and
The city has made those changes described in Resolution
No. 4193 and summarized in Exhibit "A," both attached hereto
and by reference made a part hereof; and
The amended "Master Plan of Arterial Streets and Highways"
map is marked Exhibit "B" and is attached hereto for reference,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach hereby informs the Advisory Committee
that changes have been made to the city Arterial Highway Master
Plan and hereby requests that such changes be adopted into the
county Arterial Highway Master Plan, and be made eligible for
inclusion in the Arterial Highway Financing Program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd
day of August, 1976 .

RESOLUTIONi NO. 4193
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT
r 76-1 A AND B
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach desires to update and refine the General Plan in keeping
with changing community needs and objectives; and
Amendment to the Phase I Land Use Element and the Master
Plan of Streets and Arterial Highways is necessary to accom-
plish refinement of the General Plan; and
Public hearing on adoption of said amendment was duly
conducted before the Planning Commission and approved by a
majority of the voting members of the Commission. Thereafter,
the City Council, on February 17, 1976, after giving notice
as prescribed by Government Code Section 65355 held at least
one (1) public hearing to consider General Plan Amendment
76-1 A and B; and
At said hearing before the City Council all persons de-
siring to be heard on said amendment were heard,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach, pursuant to the provisions of
Title 7 , Chapter 3, Article 6 of the Government Code of the
State of California, commencing with Section 65360, that General
Plan Amendment 76-1 A and B is hereby approved and adopted and
made a part of said Land Use Element and said Master Plan
of Arterial Streets and Highways .
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held
