A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 4296
AND 4299 TO ALTER THE AUTHORIZATION OF CERTAIN
MEMBERS TO FILE WRITTEN ARGUMENTS FOR OR AGAINST
A PROPOSED CHARTER' AMENDMENT CHANGING THE VOTE
REQUIRED OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO ENACT ANY MEAS-
URE LEVYING ANY TAX OR FEE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach that Resolutions No. 4296 and 4299 are hereby amended in
part to read as follows :
That this City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
hereby authorizes the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach by HARRIETT M. WIEDER, Mayor, to file a written argument
for the city measure set forth in Resolution No . 4299 and against
the city measure set forth in Resolution No . 4296 .
In all other respects, Resolutions No. 4296 and 4299
shall remain in full force and effect .
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th
day of August , 1976.

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day
