A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH DIRECTING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH
REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION TO HOLD A JOINT MEETING
WITH THE CITY COUNCIL TO CONSIDER THE ADOPTION
OF THE DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT PLAN

Code provides for the Huntington Beach Redevelopment Commission
to hold and conduct hearings on the Redevelopment Plan pursuant
to the Community Redevelopment, Law of the State of California;
and
The Huntington Beach Redevelopment Commission has requested
that the hearing on the Redevelopment Plan for the Downtown
Project Area be held jointly with the City Council on September 23,
1976 at 7 p.m. ; and
Said joint hearing is necessary to meet the present time
schedule for adoption, by ordinance, of the Redevelopment Plan -
for the Downtown Project Area,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach hereby directs that a joint hearing be
held with the Huntington Beach Redevelopment Commission on
September 23, 1976 at 7 p.m, to consider the Redevelopment Plan
for the Downtown Project Area in accordance with Article 907
of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code and the Community Re-
development Law of the State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held
on the 23rd day of August, 1976.
