A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDERING THE VACATION OF A POR-
TION OF ROOSEVELT LANE, NORTH OF STALLION CIRCLE
WHEREAS, on September 20 , 1976 , the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach duly adopted Resolution No . 4331 de-
claring its intention to vacate a portion of Roosevelt Lane
north of Stallion Circle, and referring to maps or plans on file
in the office of the City Clerk for particulars as to the pro-
posed vacation; and
Said resolution fixed the time and place of October 26,
1976 at the hour of 7 p.m. , or as soon thereafter as the matter may
be heard, in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, Huntington
Beach, California, for hearing all persons interested in or ob-
jecting to the proposed vacation, which time was not less than
fifteen (15) days from the passage of said resolution. Notices
of the proposed vacation were posted conspicuously along said
portion of Roosevelt Lane north of Stallion Circle proposed to be
vacated, and such notices were posted not more than three hundred
(300) feet apart and at least three (3) were posted.
On October 26, 1976 at the hour of 7 p .m. thereof in the
Council Chambers in the Civic Center, Huntington Beach, California,
the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach did convene for
the purpose of hearing all persons interested in or objecting to
the proposed vacation of a portion of Roosevelt Lane north of
Stallion Circle, at which time no objection was made to said vaca-
tion, and evidence was presented showing that the portion of
Roosevelt Lane proposed to be vacated is not necessary for present
or prospective public street purposes , and is not suitable for
use or development as bicycle paths or routes .

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, pursuant to Division 9 , Part 3, Chapter 2 (Sections 8320
et seq. ) of the California Streets and Highways Code, does resolve
that that portion of Roosevelt Lane north of Stallion Circle,
hereinafter described, is not necessary for present or prospective
public street purposes , and is .not suitable for use or develop-
ment as bicycle paths or routes , and it is hereby
ORDERED that that portion,of Roosevelt Lane north of Stallion
Circle be and the same is hereby vacated, and said portion of
Roosevelt Lane so vacated is described as follows :
That portion of Roosevelt Lane lying northerly
of the westerly prolongation of the north
right-,of-way line of Stallion Circle as shown
on Tract 7805, recorded in Book 338, pages 23
and 24, Miscellaneous Maps , records of Orange
County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on
the 26th day of October, 1976 .
