A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
TO PLANNING COMMISSIONER ROBERT D . BAZIL
WHEREAS, Robert D. Bazil has from September 1954 to
July 1976 faithfully served the City of Huntington Beach as
a member of the Planning Commission; and
Through twenty-two years of dedicated service has dis-
tinguished himself as the Huntington Beach Planning Commissioner
with the longest term of service in the history of the city; and
Robert D. Bazil also served as Chairman of the Planning
Commission for a combined tenure of over eight years , more than
any other commissioner in the history of the city; and
Significant planning contributions were made to the city
of Huntington Beach by Mr . Bazil at a time when the city was
being transformed from a rural , agriculturally-oriented community
into its present urbanized character, for all of which the City
Council expresses its sincere gratitude,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Huntington sincerely acknowledges the outstanding,
individual performance of Commissioner Bazil and expresses its
deep appreciation for his long tenure of service to the city of
Huntington Beach.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on
the 26th day of October, 1976 .

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular gjn„-rnpd meeting thereof held on the 26th day
