HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4455 RESOLUTION N0. 4455 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH APPROVING THE AMENDMENTS TO THE SELECT SYSTEM OF CITY .STREETS WHEREAS, a select system of streets for this city has been established in accordance with Sections 186 .3 and 186 .4 of the California Streets and Highways Code; and The Director of Public Works has submitted to this Council a report and map containing certain recommended additions and deletions to the select system of city streets which are warranted by changes brought about by annexations, traffic or land use patterns or other causes of equal necessity which have occurred since the system was established or last amended; and This Council finds the recommended amendments to the select system of city streets to be necessary for the expenditure of apportioned highway users tax funds in the manner and in accordance with the provisions of the statutes, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby adopt said report and map, and, in accordance with the provisions of Section 186 . 3 of the California Streets and Highways Code, hereby petitions the California Department of Public Works to approve the select system additions -.and deletions set forth therein together with such modi- fications as the Department may find necessary to conform to statutory requirements .
