A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH APPROVING THE CITY ROAD AND
STREET SYSTEM REPORT FOR TRANSMITTAL TO THE
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, Section 2156 of the Streets and Highways Code
provides that every city shall periodically submit to the State
Department of Transportation a report consisting of the progress
made in the construction or improvement of city road or street
systems, an estimate of city road or street needs for the next
five years, and a projected estimate of city road or street needs
for the next ten years; and
The City Engineer of the City of Huntington Beach has prepared
and submitted for Council approval a Section 2156 Report on the
City of Huntington Beach, which is attached hereto and made part
hereof; and
The City Council finds the information provided in the Section
2156 Report to be in conformance with instructions provided by the
State Department of Transportation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach that it hereby approves the attached
Section 2156 Report and directs the City Clerk to transmit a copy
of this resolution to the California Department of Transportation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day
of June, 1977 .

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day
