A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH CONSENTING TO AND CALLING A JOINT
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
FOR THE WARNER-GOLDENWEST SMALL LOT REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT AND THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
RELATING THERETO
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Commission of the
City of Huntington Beach (the "Commission") by Resolution
No. 4 on June 13, 1977, submitted to the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach the proposed Redevelopment Plan for
the Warner-Goldenwest Small Lot Redevelopment Project (the
"Redevelopment Plan" ) and consented to and requested that the
City Council call a joint public hearing of the Commission,
the Agency and the City Council to consider and act upon the
proposed Redevelopment Plan, together with a public hearing on
the final environmental impact report for the Redevelopment
Plan; and
The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Huntington Beach
(the "Agency") by Resolution No. 15 on June 20, 1977, also con-
sented to a joint public hearing of the Commission, the Agency
and the City Council to consider and act upon the proposed
Redevelopment Plan, together with a public hearing on the final
j environmental impact report for the Redevelopment Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach does resolve as follows :
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby consents to and, at
the request of the Community Redevelopment Commission of the
City of Huntington Beach and the Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Huntington Beach, calls a joint public hearing of the
Commission, the Agency and the City Council on Monday, July 25,

1 977, at 7: 30 p .m. in the City Council Chambers , City Hall,
2000 Main Street , Huntington Beach, California, to consider
and act upon the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Warner
Goldenwest Small Lot Redevelopment Project and all documents
and evidence pertaining thereto, together with a joint public
hearing on the final environmental impact report for the
Redevelopment Plan.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Huntington
Beach shall, in cooperation with the Secretary of the Commission
and the Secretary of the Agency, prepare, publish and mail such
notices and documents , and do all other acts as may be necessary
to carry out the purposes of this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th
day of June, 1977.

vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council

RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
4 SUBMITTING THE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR THE WARNER-GOLDENWEST SMALL LOT
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT, THE REPORT AND
DRAFT EIR TO THE CITY COUNCIL, REQUESTING
THE CITY COUNCIL TO CALL AND NOTICE A
JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON SAID PLAN AND
FINAL EIR, AND TRANSMITTING A COPY OF THE
! REDEVELOPMENT PLAN TO THE PLANNING
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Commission of the
City of Huntington Beach (the "Commission") has prepared a
proposed Redevelopment Plan (the "Redevelopment Plan") for
the Warner-Goldenwest Small Lot Redevelopment Project (the
"Project") ; and
WHEREAS, the .California Community Redevelopment Law
(Health and Safety Code Section 33355) authorizes a joint
public hearing on the. proposed Redevelopment Plan with the
consent of the Commission, the Redevelopment Agency and the
City Council of the City of Huntington Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Community Redevelopment Commission
of the City of Huntington Beach does resolve as follows
Section 1. The Commission hereby submits said Redevel-
opment Plan and Report (being prepared by the City staff
based upon information presented to the Commission) and
Draft Environmental Impact Report to the City Council.
Section 2 . The Commission hereby consents to a joint
public hearing on the proposed Redevelopment Plan, and
further, hereby requests the City Council to call a joint
public hearing of the Commission, the Agency and the City
Council on Monday, July 25 , 1977, at 7 :30. p.m. in the City
Council Chambers to consider and act upon -the proposed
Redevelopment Plan and all documents and evidence pertaining
thereto, together with a joint public hearing on the Final
Environmental Impact Report for the Project.
Section 3. The Secretary shall transmit on behalf of
the Commission a copy of the Redevelopment Plan to the
Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach for

report and recommendation.
Section 4 . The Secretary of the Commission shall, in
cooperation with the Secretary of the Agency and the Clerk
of the City of Huntington Beach, prepare, publish and mail
notices and documents , and do all other acts as may be
necessary to carry out the purposes of this resolution.
