Home My WebLink AboutCity Council - 4559 RESOLUTION NO. 4559 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING PIERHEAD LINES ADJACENT TO TRACT 9738 (BROADMOOR HOMES) AND TRACT 10004 (MCGUIRE PARTNERSHIP) WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach desires to estab- lish pierhead lines which provide a wharfage width of 37 . 5 feet adjacent to Tract 9738 and 60 feet adjacent to Tract 10004; and A pierhead line is a line between a bulkhead and a waterway which separates the area open for navigation from the area in which mooring and docking of vessels is permitted; and Pursuant to section 13. 32 . 020 of the Huntington Beach Municipal Code, the distance from the bulkhead line to the pier- head line is determined by the City Council, and this deter- mination is generally made at the time of tract map approval with the pierhead line designated on the final tract map. However, the pierhead lines were left off the final tract map for Tracts 9738 and 10004 because the tract maps did not include the water area, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that there shall be established pier- head lines which provide a wharfage of 37 . 5 feet adjacent to Tract 9738 and 60 feet adjacent to Tract 10004 . The establishment of said pierhead lines has been coordinated with the Army Corps of Engineers and is in conformance with city policy. The property involving said pierhead lines in adjoining Tracts No. 9738 and 10004 are illustrated in the attached Exhibits ".A" and "B" which is incorporated by this reference and made a part hereof as though fully set forth herein.
