HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4607 RESOLUTION NO . 4607 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH DIRECTING THAT ADMINISTRATIVE DECISIONS OF THE CITY BE SUBJECT TO TIME LIMITATIONS WHEREAS, the California Code of Civil Procedure has been amended to provide that administrative decisions of local agencies shall be subject to judicial review within certain time limitations , and It is the sense of the Council that administrative decisions of the City be subject to such time limitations , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach as follows : 1. All decisions of the City of Huntington Beach, its Board and Commissions , which are final on and after the date of adoption of this Resolution, shall be subject to applicable provisions of Section 1094 . 6 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of California. 2 . All final administrative decisions of Departments , Boards , Agencies and Commissions of the City which result in a) the suspension, demotion or dismissal of any officer or employee of the City; b ) the revocation of any permit or license; c) the denial of any application for any permit or license ; or d) the denial of any application for any retirement benefit or allowance, shall provide notice to all affected parties of the time within which judicial review must be sought .
