HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4615 I RESOLUTION N0. 4615 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING THE COMPEN- SATION OF THE CITY ATTORNEY WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish the appropriate compensation for the City Attorney, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach as follows : SECTION 1. Effective April 17, 1978 , the salary of the City Attorney shall be $42, 372 per annum, payable bi-weekly. SECTION 2 . With respect to fringe benefits as distin- guished from salary, those benefits established for depart- ment heads in Resolutions No. 4353 and 4510 shall be made available to the City Attorney . SECTION 3. The compensation provided herein shall be effective as of the dates set forth above and shall continue in effect until changed by subsequent resolution of the City Council. SECTION 4. The provisions of this resolution shall super- sede the provisions of any prior resolutions of the City Council for the City of Huntington Beach dealing with compensation of the City Attorney, and the provisions of any such prior reso- lutions which are in conflict in any way with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
