HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4699 RESOLUTION NO. 4699 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR A GRANT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT/TRAFFIC ENGINEERING PURPOSES WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA BUSINESS AND TRANSPORTATION AGENCY, OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach desires to under- take that certain project designated as Communications Integrated Traffic Records System, administered by the Office of Traffic Safety, State of California Business and Transportation Agency, hereinafter referred to as OTS, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that it does hereby approve the appli- cation for a grant to undertake that certain project designated as Communications Integrated Traffic Records System, including any extensions or amendments thereto, pursuant to the Traffic Safety Project Agreement attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof as though set forth fully herein. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received under such application shall not supplant ongoing law enforcement/ traffic engineering expenditures.
