HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4716 RESOLUTION NO. 4716 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE EMPLOYER- EMPLOYEE RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED by the Huntington Beach City Council that Section 14-1 of Resolution No. 3335 , as amended by Resolution Nos. 3461 , 4054, 4275 and 4339 is hereby amended to read as follows: 14-1 . CONDUCT OF ELECTIONS. Whenever a secret ballot election is provided for by this resolution, such election shall be conducted by the California State Conciliation Service, or by such other means as directed by the Personnel Director, and there shall be no more than one election in any one unit in any twelve-month period. In any election held pursuant to this resolution, the result of such election shall be determined by a majority of the members in the unit voting in such election. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular adjourned meeting thereof held on the 29th day of January, 1979 .
