HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4807 RESOLUTION NO. 4807 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH TO REQUALIFY FOR THE ORANGE COUNTY ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hunting- ton Beach that : 1. The city has adopted setback ordinance to protect ultimate arterial highway rights-of-way . 2 . The city has adopted ordinances to provide limited access to the arterial highway system in order to protect the integrity of the system. 3 . The city ' s Master Plan of Arterial Highways conforms to that of the county; except for the following revisions which were previously adopted and submitted to the county : (a) Lake Street has been deleted between Garfield and Yorktown Avenues . (b) Talbert Avenue has been deleted between Golden- west and Edwards Streets . (c) Talbert Avenue has been reclassified from a Primary to a Secondary Arterial Highway between Bolsa Chica Street extension and Edwards Street, and between Goldenwest Street and Gothard Street . (d) Heil Avenue has been extended westerly from Algonquin Street to Saybrook Lane, and the connection between Heil Avenue and Edinger Avenue has been relocated from Algonquin Street to Saybrook Lane . (e) The proposed alignment of Edwards Street between Talbert Avenue and Palm Avenue extension varies from that pre- sently shown on the Orange County Master Plan of Arterial High- ways .
