A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING PRECISE PLAN OF
STREET ALIGNMENT N0 . 79-2, ALTERNATIVE NO.
8, THE ALIGNMENT OF LAKE STREET BETWEEN ORANGE
AVENUE AND WALNUT AVENUE AND ATLANTA AVENUE
BETWEEN DELAWARE STREET AND LAKE STREET
WHEREAS , pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, parti-
cularly California Government Code Section 65500 , the Planning
Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice duly
given, held a public hearing on April 17, 1979 , to align pre-
cisely Lake Street between Orange Avenue and Walnut Avenue and
Atlanta Avenue between Delaware Street and Lake Street; and
On May 7 , 1979 , after notice duly given, hearing was held
before this Council, and the matter having been considered, the
Council finds that said Precise Plan 79-2 is reasonably neces-
sary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic, for the pre-
servation of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the
city, and for the orderly development of the community,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach that the real property, shown on the
map marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto, incorporated herein and
by reference made a part hereof, is hereby designated and adopted
as Precise Plan No . 79-2 of the City of Huntington Beach and
more particularly described as follows:
That portion of Sections 11 and 14 , Township 6 South,
Range 11 West , in the Rancho Las Bolsas , City of
Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia , as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 13
of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said County described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the north-south
quarter section line of said Section 11 having a
bearing of north , with the centerline of Atlanta
Avenue as shown on a map of the Vista Del Mar Tract
recorded in Book 4 Page 5 of Miscellaneous Maps , in
the office of the County Recorder; thence due east
along said centerline 205 .25 feet to the true point
of beginning said point being the intersection of the
centerline of Atlanta Avenue , and the southerly pro-
longation of the east line of Alabama Street, a 60 .00
foot wide street , as shown on said map of Vista Del
Mar Tract, said east line also being the west line of
Block 102 of said Vista Del Mar Tract; thence along
said line north 79 .91 feet; thence south 89 °59 '32"
west 60 .01 feet to a nontangent curve concave to the
northwest having a radius of 32 .00 feet; thence south-
westerly, westerly and northwesterly along said curve
through a central angle of 11200210911 , an arc distance
of 62.57 feet to a point on a compound curve concave
to the northeast having a radius of 277 .32 feet, a
radial to said point bears south 22001141" west;
thence continuing along said compound curve through a
central angle of 55°07147" , an arc distance of 266 .84
feet to a reverse curve concave to the southwest hav-
ing a radius of 377 .32 feet; a radial bearing to said
point of reverse curvature bears south 77009128" west;
thence northwesterly along said curve through a central
angle of 27017141" an arc distance of 179 .75 feet to a
reverse curve concave to the northeast having a radius
of 32.00 feet , a radial to said point bears north 490
51147" east; thence northwesterly along said curve
through a central angle of 40108 ' 13" , an arc distance
of 22.42 feet to a point on the east line of Lake
Street , shown as Railroad Avenue , 90 feet in width,
shown on a map of Huntington Beach, recorded in Book 3
Page 36 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said County; thence west 45 .00 feet to the
centerline of said Lake Street; thence south along said
centerline 137 .50 feet; thence west 45 .00 feet to a
point on the west line of said Lake Street, said point
being the most northerly corner of Block No. 301 as
shown on said mentioned map of Huntington Beach; thence
along said west line south 378 .25 feet to an angle point ,
said angle point being intersection of the southerly
extension of said west line and the northeasterly ex-
tension of the southeasterly line of Block No. 201 as
shown on said map of Huntington Beach; said southeasterly
line also being the northwesterly line of Lake Street ,
shown as First Street on said map of Huntington Beach;
thence South 41021 '12" west 94 .34 feet along said south-
east line and its extension; thence south 48°38148" east
100 .00 feet to a point on a nontangent curve, concave

northwesterly having a radius of 350 .00 feet; a radial
bearing to said point bears north 4803814811 west; thence
northeasterly along said curve through a central angle
of 3901914111 an are distance of 240.24 feet to a reverse
curve concave to the southeast having a radius of 32.00
feet; thence northeasterly along said reverse curve
through a central angle of 5003610911 an arc distance of
28 .26 feet; thence north 50025 ' 50 " east 38 .04 feet to a
curve concave to the south having a radius of 32 .00 feet ;
thence northeasterly, easterly and southeasterly along
said curve through a central angle of 81034 '15" an arc
distance of 45 .56 feet to a reverse curve concave to the
northeast having a radius of 377 .32 feet; thence south-
easterly and easterly along said reverse curve through a
central angle of 44°11' 55" an arc distance of 291.07 feet;
thence north 70 .00 feet to the true point of beginning.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Hunt-
ington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day
of December, 1979 •
