A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING FEES FOR PARTICIPA-
TION IN RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
WHEREAS , pursuant to section 2.30.050 of the Huntington
Beach Municipal Code, the Department of Community Services may
charge reasonable fees for the use of public buildings and fa-
cilities and participation in recreational activities , subject
to approval of this Council , to help defray public expense,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach that it hereby approves and establishes
the following fees to be charged for participation in recreational
activities:
ADULT SPORTS
Track $ 1.00 - Spectator and
Participant
Three-man basketball $ 40 .00 - Team
Five-man basketball $ 225.00 - Team
Slo pitch $ 225.00 - Team
Cross country $ 1.50 - Each
Distance derby $ 4 .00 - 6 .00 Each
Church volleyball $ 40 .00 - Team
Church softball $ 40 .00 - Team
Sports events and tournaments $ 85.00 - 100 .00 - Team
YOUTH SPORTS
Baseball $ 7 .50 - 10.00 - Each
Football $ 7 .50 - 10.00 - Each
Basketball $ 10.00 - Each
ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND $ 1.00 - Each
INSTRUCTIONAL CLASSES $ 9.00 - 56.00 -Each per
class
AQUATICS
Lessons $ 11.00 - 14.00 - Each
Recreational swimming $ .50 - Child
$ 1.00 - Adult
