A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING OPEN SPACE AND
CONSERVATION ELEMENT AMENDMENT NO. 80-1 TO
CITY' S GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
desires to update and refine the General Plan in keeping with
changing community needs and objectives ; and
A public hearing on adoption of Open Space and Conservation
Element Amendment No . 80-1 to the General Plan was held by the
Planning Commission on October 21, 1980, and approved for recom-
mendation to the City Council ; and
Thereafter, , the City Council, after giving notice as pre-
scribed by Government Code §65355, held at least one public
hearing to consider said Open Space and Conservation Element
Amendment No. 80-1 ; and
At said hearing before the City Council all persons desiring
to be heard on said amendment were heard,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach, pursuant to provisions of Title 7 ,
Chapter 3 , Article 6 of the California Government Code, com-
mencing with §65350, that Open Space and Conservation Element
Amendment No. 80-1 to the General Plan, consisting of the follow-
ing changes is hereby adopted :
1. The following neighborhood parks are hereby added :
(a) Trinidad Beach Park
(b ) French Park
(c ) Prince Park
(d) Gibbs Park Site
(e ) Carr Park
2 . The following park sites are hereby relocated:
(a) McCallen Park

(b) Manning Park
( c) Edison right of way or Lamb School, east of
Brookhurst Street
3. The following neighborhood park sites are hereby
deleted:
(a) Westmont Park Site
(b) Old Civic Center Park Site
( c) Peterson School Park Site
(d) Goldenwest/Palm Park Sites (2)
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th
day of December 1980.

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day
of December , 19 80 by the following vote;
