HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4973 RESOLUTION NO. 4973 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR 'AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SUPPLEMENT NO. 07 TO 'AGREEMENT NO. 07-5181 TO IMPROVE THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY' S RAILROAD CROSSING NO. BAA 521. 59 ON TALBERT AVENUE WHEREAS, on February 7, 1978 the city entered into an agree- ment with the State of California for the Federjal-Aid Program, identified as Agreement No. 07-5181 ; and Program Supplement No. 07 to the above-mentioned master agreement requires the replacement of existing crossbucks with flashing lights at the Southern Pacific Transportation Company' s railroad crossing (No . BAA 521. 59) on Talbert ',Avenue in this city; and The total cost of such public safety improvement program is $71 ,000 which amount will be appropriated from ',Federal and state funds, as shown on Project Number Correction Attachment No. 1, attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk are au- thorized and directed to execute Project Number; Correction Attachment No. 1 to implement Program Supplement No. 07 to Master Agreement No. 07-5181 for the purpose of improving Southern Pacific Transportation Company' s railroad crossing at Talbert Avenue. Resolution No. 4818 and all resolutions In conflict here- with are hereby repealed.
