HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 4981 RESOLUTION NO. 4981 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING A USER FEE FOR JUNIOR LIFEGUARD PROGRAM WHEREAS, a Junior lifeguard program has been established in the city of Huntington Beach for the past fifteen years; and Such program provides sound aquatic skills to boys and girls and teaches them safeguards against the hazards of ocean swimming; and In order to continue this worthwhile youth program and remain within the city' s user fee policy, it is necessary that the enrollment fee be increased to Eighty Dollars ( $80) per person, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that it hereby approves the continuance of the junior lifeguard program and the increase in enrollment fee to Eighty Dollars ($80) per person. Resolution No. 4656 and all resolutions in conflict here- with are hereby repealed.
