A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
REPORT NO. 80-1

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington
Beach on March 3, 1981, reviewed Environmental Impact Report
No. 80-1 and has recommended that the City Council adopt said
EIR in conjunction with the approval of Zone Change 80-6; and
Zone Change 80-6 is a direct result of the conditions of
approval placed on the Seacliff Phase IV Project by the
California Coastal Commission, requiring 450 units be developed
on a twenty-one acre site located at the southwesterly ex-
tension of Palm Avenue; and
The project description included in Environmental Impact
Report No. 80-1 addresses a 450-unit complex located on this
twenty-one acre site; and
The applicant has indicated to both the Planning Commission
and City Council that no more than 450 units will be built on
the subject site; and
The City Council will direct the Department of Development
Services to initiate a further zone change on the subject site
limiting the total number of units to 450 for the gross site area,
subject to subsequent application for entitlement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach hereby adopts Environmental Impact
Report No. 80-1.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the newly-initiated zone change
limiting the number of units of the subject property will not
affect or delay the applicant' s planning process or the pro-
posed project on the subject property, nor will it reduce the

effective processing time for the entitlement of the proposed
project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th
day of Apri 1 1981.

I, ALICIA M. WENTWORTH, the duly elected, qualified City

City Council of said City, do hereby certify that the whole number of
members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is seven;
that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day
