HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 5018 r RESOLUTION NO. 5018 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF STREET NAME FROM BAKER LANE TO SAMPSON LANE WHEREAS, it has been determined that there are streets in the city of Huntington Beach bearing the same name; and In order to avoid conflict and confusion resulting from such duplication, the Fire Chief has recommended that Baker Lane, south of Slater Avenue between Beach Boulevard and Gothard Street, recorded on Parcel Map No. 80-560, Book 157, page 19, be changed to Sampson Lane; and The City Council finds that changing the name of Baker Lane to Sampson Lane would be a convenience to the public, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, pursuant to Government Code section 34091. 1 , that the name Baker Lane is hereby changed to Sampson Lane. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk, pursuant to Government Code section 34092, is directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Orange County Board of Supervisors. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of July , 1981.
