HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 5024 RESOLUTION NO. 5024 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH PROHIBITING AND RESTRICT- ING PARKING, STOPPING OR STANDING OF VEHICLES ON PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY BETWEEN BEACH BOULE- VARD AND THE SOUTHERLY CITY LIMITS The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows : In accordance with the provisions of Section 22507 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California and Sections 10. 40. 050 (d) and 10. 40.240 of the Huntington Beach Municipal Code, a "no parking and no stopping zone" shall be estab- lished on Pacific Coast Highway between Beach Boulevard and the southerly city limits, further described as beginning two hundred (200) feet northwesterly of the centerline inter- section of Beach Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway and following the n erline of Pacific Coast Highway to a point 2, 984 feet southeasterly of the centerline intersection of Brookhurst Street and Pacific Coast Highway. Parking, stopping or standing vehicles in said zone shall be prohibited or restricted as follows : (a) Parking, stopping or standing vehicles shall be prohibited at all times on the inland side of the highway. (b) Parking, stopping or standing vehicles shall be restricted between the hours of 8 :00 p.m. and 5 :00 a.m. , on the ocean side of the highway. This resolution shall not be enforced until signs or markings giving adequate notice thereof shall have been placed. Resolution No. 4508 and all other resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
