A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR
WARNING LIGHTS AND BARRICADES SERVICED BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, it is necessary from time to time for the city to
collect fees to defray the actual or estimated cost of inspecting
and servicing warning lights and barricades permitted in the
public right-of-way; and
Huntington Beach Municipal Code section 12. 24. 010 authorizes
the establishment by resolution of the City Council of related
service fees ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach that the following barricades and
warning lights fee schedule is hereby established for the city:
1. The sum of $5 per barricade or light per day plus cost
of labor and equipment with a minimum per emergency call-out
of $75 shall be charged to place , replace or relocate warning
devices. The contractor or permittee shall replace city-owned
barricades within forty-eight hours.
2. Actual costs of labor , materials , and equipment plus
22 percent overhead with a minimum per emergency call-out of $75
shall be charged to repair damaged facilities which may result
in hazardous conditions.
This resolution shall become operative on the effective
date of Ordinance No. 2528
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st
day of December 1981.

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day
of December 19 81 by the following vote:
