That for the purpose of holding said regular general municipal election, there shall be and are hereby es- tablished sixty-six (66 ) voting precincts consisting of 176 of the regular election precincts in the city of Huntington Beach established for the holding of state and county elections, as said regular election precincts exist on the date of adoption of this resolution. That the compensation of the persons hereinbefore named as precinct board members is hereby fixed at the sum of $35 for each inspector and $30 for each judge and clerk for said elec- tion. The rental for each of such polling places, where a charge is made, shall_ be the sum of $25 for said election. When required, the compensation of -the custodian of a building shall be $10 for said election, and messengers $6. 50 per hour plus mileage, for said election. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original resolutions of said city; and shall make a minute of passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said city in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
