HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 5098 RESOLUTION N0. 5098 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH APPROVING NEW FEE SCHEDULES FOR USE OF LIBRARY FACILITY AND EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, Huntington Beach Municipal Code section 2. 30 . 050 authorizes the imposition of a reasonable fee, approved by the City Council, for the use of city buildings , property and fa- cilities to defray public expense ; and The Department of Community Services has prepared new fee schedules for the use of library facilities and equipment, as set out in Exhibits A-1 , A-2, and A-3 attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, to offset the expense of providing the services specified, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that the new fee schedules , attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, are hereby ap- proved and shall take effect immediately. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolutions No. 4883, 5084 and all other resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st _ day of March i, 1982. SPECIAL HOLIDAY RATES: The rental will be double on the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Easter. For all other City observed holidays add $10 or one-fourth of rental fee, whichever is greater. ADDITIONAL FEES: $12/hour during normally closed hours or $24/hour if the entire library is rented, $15/hour for City-observed holidays. For special seating/banquet arrangements, special equipment and other extras; clean-up deposits and set-up fee will vary according to usage.
