OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH CONSENT- ING TO JOINT PUBLIC HEARINGS WITH THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH TO CONSIDER FORMAL ADOPTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLANS AND CERTIFICATION OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORTS FOR THE MAIN-PIER, YORKTOWN-LAKE AND TALBERT-BEACH REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Huntington Beach has by its Resolution No. 34 consented to and requested the City Council of the City of Hunting- ton Beach to hold joint public hearings to consider formal adoption of the proposed Redevelopment Plans and certification of the Environmental Impact Reports for the Main-Pier, Yorktown-Lake and Talbert-Beach Redevelopment Projects; and WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code, Section 33355) authorizes joint public hearings on the proposed Redevelopment Plans with the Redevelopment Agency and the City Council ; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that: Section l: The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach hereby consents to hold joint public hearings with the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Hunting- ton Beach to consider formal adoption of the Redevelopment Plans and certification of the Environmental Impact Reports for the Main-Pier, Yorktown-Lake and Talbert- Beach Redevelopment Projects. Section 2: The City Council further establishes the date for said public hear- ings as September 7, 1982, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Hunting- ton Beach City Hal 1 . Section 3: Pursuant to Section 33359 of the Health and Safety Code, action to approve and adopt the Redevelopment Plans for the proposed Main-Pier, Yorktown-Lake and Talbert-Beach Redevelopment Projects will be taken only by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach.
