RESOLUTION NO. 5156 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH DESIGNATING A REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA FOR THE GOTHARD CORRIDOR WHEREAS, the City Council of theCity of Huntington Beach, as part of the Community and Neighborhood Enhancement Program, desires that the area shown on Exhibit "A" be studied to determine the feasibility and practicability of establishing a redevelopment project in said area; and WHEREAS it is the intent of this Council to initiate a redevelopment proj- ect i.n this area if it is found feasible to do so; and WHEREAS, California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Sections 33000 et seq. ) provides that a redevelopment survey area may be desig- nated by resolution of the City Council , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach as follows: Section 1. The area shown on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, is hereby designated as a redevelopment survey area. Section 2. The designated redevelopment survey area requires study to determine whether a redevelopment project is feasible. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of September 1982.
