A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING A CITY FEE SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach de-
sires to establish a comprehensive fee schedule for the city,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach that the following fees shall be charged
for city services, facilities and activities enjoyed by the public :
SECTION 1. GENERAL FEES . Fees for use of civic center
meeting rooms by government agencies :

Where a copy of a public document which is not covered
by this resolution is properly requested by any person, the city
official who has custody of such document shall charge and col-
lect a fee therefor, which fee shall reasonably reflect the cost of
the production of the copy of such document as determined by that
city official. with the approval of the City Administrator.
Charges made by this resolution shall not apply to copies
requested by or for city offices or employees for the conduct of
city business , or other governmental agencies .

Conditions:

FIRE DEPARTMENT
SECTION 9. Fees for permits required under Huntington Beach
Municipal Code section 15. 12 .090 based on projected costs of ad-
ministering and enforcing the oil code and all provisions relating
to oil operations in the city:

paid upon application

CONDITIONS :
1 . Payment of the above fees is a condition to the issuance of each
permit .
2. The aforementioned fees shall be paid to the director of finance
for allocation to the city' s general fund, and no fees shall be
refundable except as otherwise provided herein.
3. The annual inspection permit shall be considered a permit to
operate for one 11 ) year, and the fee for such permit shall

be due and payable on the first day of July of each year and
shall be delinquent on August 1 of such year. For any new
wells drilled after the commencement of the fiscal year, the
fee shall be prorated.
4 . Wastewater permit fee shall be due and payable on the first
day of January of each year, and shall, be delinquent on
February 1 of such year .
POLICE DEPARTMENT
SECTION 10. Annual fee for issuance of a bl,igo permit
under Huntington Beach Municipal Code section 5. 64. 050: $ 50
SECTION 11. Fees for operation of adult entertainment busi-
nesses pursuant to Huntington Beach Municipal Code Chapter 5. 70:

SECTION 34. Sewer fees for costs of constructing planned
sanitary sewer facilities for local areas , for the costs of future
replacements, extensions, service, and actual sewer connections ,
pursuant to Huntington Beach Municipal Code section 14. 40. 020:
1. The sum of $195 for the first dwelling unit, plus the sum
of $130 for each additional dwelling unit on parcels containing
less than ten thousand (10,000) square feet in area, except those
properties covered by paragraphs 3 or 4. A "dwelling unit" shall be
each residential quarter in hotels, apartments and motels, each
trailer space providing permanent facilities in trailer parks .
2. For any parcel containing ten thousand (10, 000) square
feet of area or more, $645 per acre or each fraction thereof or
$130 per dwelling unit, whichever is greater, except those prop-
erties covered by paragraphs 3 and 4. A "dwelling unit" shall be
any unit which is included in the definition as given in paragraph
1 . Six hundred forty-five dollars ( $645) per acre shall apply to
all commercial and manufacturing developments, and those portions
of trailer parks which accommodate overnight parking.
3. In the area bounded on the west by 23rd Street and
Goldenwest Street, on the east by Beach Boulevard, on the south
by Pacific Coast Highway, and on the north by Clay Street, the
service fee for the first unit will not be charged but $130 for
each "dwelling unit" in excess of one (1 ) per lot shall be charged,
except those properties covered by paragraph 4.
4. For those areas served by a sanitary sewer constructed and
charged on a front foot basis, as determined by a separate agree-
ment, the amounts specified in said agreement shall be charged un-
less such amounts are less than those provided in paragraphs 1, 2
or 3 hereof.
SECTION 35. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause,
phrase or portion of this resolution is for any reason held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of com-
petent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions of this resolution. The City Council_ of
the City of Huntington Beach hereby declares that it would have
adopted this resolution and each section, subsection, sentence,
clause, phrase, or portions thereof, and amendments thereto, ir-
respective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections,
sentences, clauses , phrases or portions, or amendments be declared
invalid or unconstitutional.

SECTION 36. The provisions of this resolution insofar as
they are substantially the same as existing provisions of the
Huntington Beach codes relating to the same subject matter shall
be construed as restatements and continuations and not as new
enactments.
SECTION 37. All resolutions in conflict with any of the
foregoing sections are hereby repealed.
