A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH PROCLAIMING THE TERMINATION OF
A STATE OF LOCAL EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1757 of the City of
Huntington Beach, the Director of Civil Defense/Emergency
Services proclaimed the existence, or threatened existence, of
a local emergency caused by high tides combined with high
breakers and excessive rain, commencing on or about 10: 30 a.m.
on the 1st day of March, 1983; and
The City Council met at an adjourned regular meeting on
March 2, 1983 and ratified such proclamation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, PROCLAIMED AND ORDERED
by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that the
existence of a local emergency is hereby terminated and the
proclamation heretofore ratified is of no further force and
effect.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a special meeting thereof held on the 14th
day of March, 1983.

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular Special meeting thereof held on the 14t-h day
