HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 5265 RESOLUTION NO. 5265 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING LAND USE ELEMENT AMENDMENT NO. 83-2 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach desires to update and refine the General Plan in keeping with changing community needs and objectives; and A public hearing on adoption of Land Use Element Amendment No. 83-2 to the General Plan was held by the Planning Commission on April 5, 1983 and approved for recommendation to the City Council; and Thereafter, the City Council after giving notice as prescribed by Government Code section 65355, held at least one public hearing to consider Land Use Element Amendment No. 83-2; and At said hearing before the City Council all persons desiring to be heard on said amendment were heard, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach pursuant to provisions of Title 7, Chapter 3, Article 6 of California Government Code , commencing with section 65350, that Land Use Element Amendment No. 83-2 consisting of the following change is hereby adopted: That approximately 4. 7 acres located south of Talbert Avenue, approximately 630 feet north of Taylor Drive, approximately 225 east of Kovacs Street and generally located 900 feet west of Beach Boulevard, be redesignated from Industrial and Medium—density Residential Districts to High-density Residential District . ahb 5/2/83 1.
