RESOLUTION NO. 5312
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5159
ENTITLED, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING A CITY
FEE SCHEDULE" (SUPPLEMENTAL FEE RESOLUTION NO. 3 )
WHEREAS, on October 4, 1982, the City Council adopted Resolu-
tion No. 5159 establishing a fee schedule for the city; and
The Council desires to amend such fee schedule to reflect a
clarification in wording,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach resolves that Resolution No. 5159 is hereby amended and that
amendments set out in this Supplemental Fee Resolution No. 3 shall
be in effect during fiscal year 1983-1984.
Section 23 of Resolution No. 5159 is amended as follows:
SECTION 23. Fees for parking in metered zones and the estab-
lishment and designation of such zones, pursuant to Huntington Beach
Municipal Code Chapter 10. 60:
BUSINESS ZONES
(a) The boundaries of the business zones shall be as follows:
1. Within Main Street right-of-way from Pacific Coast
Highway to Orange Avenue.
2. Within Fifth Street right-of-way from Pacific Coast
Highway to Orange Avenue, east side only.
3. Within Fifth Street right-of-way from Pacific Coast
Highway to Walnut Avenue, west side only.
4. Within Walnut Avenue right-of-way from Third Street
to Fifth Avenue.
5. Within Olive Avenue right-of-way from Third Street to
Fifth Avenue.
6. On the inland side (north side ) of Pacific Coast
Highway right-of-way from Third Street to Sixth Street.

(b) Within the business zone, city parking meters shall be
installed to show legal parking for a period of one ( 1 ) hour after
deposit of one (1 ) ten cent coin.
(c) Sixty-minute meters shall be placed within such zones in
specific locations to be determined by the Director of Community
Services.
(d) Coins shall be placed in such meters from 9 a.m. to 6
p.m. daily, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
RESIDENTIAL ZONES
(a ) The boundaries of the residential zones shall be as
follows:
1. Within Second Street right-of-way from Pacific Coast
Highway to Orange Avenue.
2. Within Third Street right-of-way from Pacific Coast
Highway to Olive Avenue .
3. Within Walnut Avenue right-of-way from Lake Street to
Third Street.
4. Within Olive Avenue right-of-way from Lake Street to
Third Street.
5. Within Fifth Street right-of-way from Walnut Avenue
to Orange Avenue, west side only.
(b) The boundary of the residential zone, Area "A, " shall be
within Lake Street right-of-way from Pacific Coast Highway to
Atlanta Avenue.
(c ) Within the residential zone, sixty-minute meters, 120-
minute meters and twelve-hour meters shall be installed to show
legal parking for a period of one (1 ) hour after deposit of one (1 )
ten cent coin.
(d) Within the residential zone, Area "A, " sixty-minute
meters, 120-minute meters, twelve-hour meters shall be installed to
show legal parking for a period of one (1 ) hour after deposit of one
(1 ) twenty-five cent coin.
(e ) Sixty-minute meters, 120-minute meters and twelve-hour
meters shall be placed within this zone in specific locations to be
determined by the Director of Community Services.
(f ) Coins shall be placed in such meters from 6 a.m. through 6
p.m. daily, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

RECREATIONAL ZONES
(a) The boundaries for the recreational zones shall be as
follows:
ZONE A: On the ocean side of Pacific Coast Highway
right-of-way from Beach Boulevard to Ninth Street.
ZONE B: On the inland side (north side ) of Pacific Coast
Highway right-of-way from Beach Boulevard to Third Street and
from Sixth Street to Ninth Street.
ZONE C: Within Pacific Coast Highway right-of-way from
Ninth Street to Goldenwest Street.
ZONE D: On the ocean side of Pacific Coast Highway
right-of-way from Goldenwest Street to a point which is 6, 100
feet northwesterly of said Goldenwest Street.
ZONE E: Within the city-owned parking lot at the
southeast corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Fifth Street.
(b) Within Zone A and B twelve-hour meters shall be installed
to show legal parking for a period of one ( 1 ) hour after deposit of
three ( 3 ) twenty-five cent coins.
(c ) Within Zone C twelve-hour meters shall be installed to
show legal parking for a period of one (1 ) hour after deposit of two
( 2 ) twenty-five cent coins.
(d ) Within Zone D twelve-hour meters shall be installed to
show legal parking for a period of one (1 ) hour after deposit of a
twenty-five cent coin.
(e ) Within Zone E sixty-minute meters shall be installed to
show legal parking after deposit of two (2 ) twenty-five cent coins.
(f ) Sixty-minute meters, 120-minute meters, and twelve-hour
meters shall be placed within this zone in other specific locations
to be determined by the Director of Community Services.

(g ) Coins shall be placed in such meters from 6 a.m. through
12 midnight daily, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
With the exception of the additions and amendments to Section
23 set out herein, all fees contained in Resolution No. 5159 shall
remain in full force and effect.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the ajo v Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular/meeting thereof held on the 10th
day of October 1983.

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular adjourned meeting thereof held on the loth day
